Meet Eric Olsson
Eric Olsson is a New York–based actor twice spotlighted by Spectrum News in Los Angeles as an “Up & Coming Actor.” He trained in the Meisner technique at William Esper Studio and holds a B.A. in Film & Media Studies from UC Santa Barbara, as well as dual EU citizenship.
He appeared as the lead antagonist in the 2024 season finale of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU (“Duty to Hope”) and starred in a Tribeca-premiering short film. He also led Masquerade, the comedic feature debut of Nicholas Tolkien, great-grandson of J.R.R. Tolkien, which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Rooted in stagecraft, Eric originated a role in the Off-Broadway production of Soonest Mended, where TheaterMania described him as “a handsomely mustachioed masseuse named Kieran competently executing the job (sans happy ending).”
While at UCSB, he gained national attention as the lead in Pringles’ award-winning Unleash Your Inner Xtreme commercial contest. A former nationally ranked gymnast and AAA-rated beach volleyball player, Eric brings athletic discipline, physicality, and an edge to his work.
A longtime steward of One-on-One Studios, Eric recently founded Ear Out Playhouse, a new theater company in NYC, which will present its inaugural production of CLASS this fall. He is also set to lead two feature films this year.
Charming leading man with an edge. The guy you trust, until you shouldn’t!
